Vacation Bible School 2017 is only a few weeks away! Please support this volunteer community effort by helping out with the needs of the staff below. As always, we appreciate your generosity towards this ministry.
The 2017 VBS Scholarship is still in full swing! We are always grateful for your monetary donations each year to this annual community ministry! Every dollar goes a long way to purchasing supplies, decorations, and food for this week-long program. So far, over $200 has been raised for this scholarship fund! Please “Buy a Gear” by placing your donation in the offering plate or give it directly to Erin Noblet or Dana Grimm.
BOXES NEEDED! The VBS team is looking for boxes (preferably Amazon boxes or shoe box size). If you have any, please drop them off at the church during office hours, after Sunday service, or during a time in which Dana Grimm and Erin Noblet can receive them.
SNACK BOARD: We are seeking donations for our VBS snack station. Stop by the fellowship room and grab a ticket. Please leave donations in the kitchen or box marked in the fellowship room.
As part of 2017 Maker Fun Factory , our church will participate in an Operation Kid-to-Kid™ mission project that gives kids the opportunity to help children in remote villages of Peru have access to safe, clean drinking water. Please see the back of this bulletin for more information .
CHURCH OFFICE SUMMER HOURS: Office hours will be changing for the summer months (June -August). The church will be closed on Mondays beginning this week. Other changes may be occurring, so updates will be forthcoming.
CHURCH OFFICE CLOSING: Marcy will be on a family vacation from June 19 - June 27th, 2017. Please contact Beth Milke or call/email the church for any questions or concerns.
CLOTHES CLOSET: Due to overwhelming generosity, we are fully stocked! Please hold donations until further notice UNLESS you would like to donate men’s clothing and/or socks (men’s or women’s). Thank you for your continued support of this ministry!
CLOTHES CLOSET: The Clothes Closet is in need of shopping bags with handles. If you have some extras at home that you can donate, we would appreciate your help. You can place them on the table at the entrance of the Clothes Closet store downstairs. Thank you!
AMITY HARVEST COMMUNITY GARDEN: If you are interested in helping at the Amity Harvest Community Garden, 7th Avenue & Amity Street, the following are some volunteer dates: Monday nights at 6:00 PM starting on June 12th and a Saturday work day on June 24th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
